the collected value. For Response and TWResponse instances the value property represents the average of the response over the indicated period. For Counter instances the value property represents the total count during the indicated period. The value is null only when an observation-based Response was not observed at all during the period, in which case there is no average to report. A TWResponse always has a value, because a period in which it never changed still has its height across the whole period, and a Counter always has a count.
